Jody Kadlec

Project Manager/Painting

Jody attended the Dunwoody College of Technology and studied Architectural Drafting and Estimating. He is certified in Lead Paint Training and Intumescent Training. Jody has been in the Commercial Painting Industry as a Project Manager for 24 years. Jody is currently responsible for the daily operations of Berg Painting, LLC. His responsibilities include Painting, Wallcoverings and special finish portions of projects from Sales to Estimating and Project Management. Some of his major projects include; Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, University of Minnesota Gateway Center Plaza, South Dakota Department of Human Resources, Fairview Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis, Target Corporate Headquarters, Excel Energy Center in Minneapolis and Wells Fargo Plaza in Bloomington, MN. In his free time he enjoys golfing, snowmobiling and traveling whenever possible.

Kelly has been with Berg since May of 2010. Her duties include Accounts Receivable billing and assisting with tracking Project Documentation such as Lien Waivers, Change Orders, Closeout Information, etc. Kelly has 4 children with her husband Bret. She loves watching her children play sports, mostly hockey and baseball, doing anything outdoors, and her spoiled cats Eleanor and Martin.

Trista attended Eden Prairie High School and went on to college where she majored in Accounting & Marketing. She has a focus on safety attending safety seminars including OSHA 10 Compliance & Reasonable Suspicion. Trista has been with Berg for 10 years and she is currently the H/R Manager. Her duties include Payroll, Workers Compensation, Safety Department Backup, Union Reporting, and travel arrangements for Employees working out of town. She feels fortunate to have different tasks each day. She enjoys the fact that her job allows her to speak to each and every employee throughout the company. She enjoys the change of seasons in MN a great deal so whenever possible she likes to be outside. She enjoys volleyball in the summer, fishing (ice or boat!) in addition has played on a pool league for the last ten years.

Jeff is a graduate of Dunwoody college and completed their Architectural Drafting and Estimating Course. He worked in the architectural field for his first 4 years and has been an Estimator in the Drywall and Plastering field ever since. His everyday responsibilities at Berg revolve mainly around the Plastering, EIFS, Stucco and Fireproofing trades. His hobbies are mostly sports related. He has been a high school football and basketball official for 30+ years and have had the good fortune to have officiated 4 High School Championship football games over the years. His 2 boys are involved in basketball, baseball and football. Jeff and his wife enjoy attending their games and watching them grow up.

Brandon was a plasterer for 12 years before becoming a Project Manager in the Drywall industry in 2007. He received his Construction Estimating Certificate through Anoka Technical College. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He has 2 daughters.

Jeff is currently the Field Superintendent for Berg Drywall, Painting and Plastering. His responsibilities include pre-planning projects, reviewing blueprints, schedules, manpower, and equipment necessities. He finds the daily challenges of his position very gratifying, as he loves to see plans and projects come together. He enjoys the team atmosphere he has with his office and field team members. Jeff has been in construction for over 20 years, many of those years as a drywall finisher. He has been with Berg for 8 years. He completed an estimating course with Carter School of Estimating. Jeff is a single father with a daughter in college and a son in 7th grade. You can always find Jeff on a lake fishing, or in a field hunting. “Work hard and play hard” is his motto.

Brian attended St. Paul College and holds the master Plastering card for Berg. He belongs to Vistage International and the Minnesota Lath & Plaster Bureau. Brian started with Berg as a Plastering Superintendent in 2005 and in 2007 he became a Project Manager for Berg Drywall. He is currently the General Manager at Berg where he oversees the Sales Department and manages many out of town projects. Some of his favorite projects include: the Musical Instrument Museum, Target Knollwood, Westminster Church in Minneapolis and Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis. Brian’s two favorite hobbies are golfing and boating (or any water sports that go along with it!)
